What bird?

I saw this bird in Costa Rica last January 2011 and am not sure what type of bird it is.

looks like some species of toucan!

Looks like a Chestnut-billed Aricari.

Hey, don't beat yourself up, you were close! Aricaris are a type of toucan.

Liam, don't you mean a Chestnut-mandibled Toucan? As far as I can find, none of the Aracaris have black bellies.

OK, THAT'S IT!!! We should all go to my friends' farm in Costa Rica to do a tropical bird study! She says she gets Macaws and monkeys and all kinds of birds there. We'll write it off as an educational trip...
