Yup, adult Cooper's - note the shorter outer tail feathers and "stern" expression.

Thanks for your response:)It's an adult, but no real way to tell if it's a male. Males are smaller than females, but that's it.

Actually, this looks like an adult female. The eyes are pretty red, which means that the bird is several years old at least. A male this age should have gray auriculars, and I'm seeing pale rufous, which is typical of adult females.
