I took a shot at IDing these guys, but the last on was confusing me. Seen at Bombay Hook NWR.

This last one looks like a Forster's Tern, but was definitely not feeding like one. I've been told that Forster's and Common dive for their food, while Black and Gull-billed will fly along the surface and dip their beaks in to catch fish. This one was doing the fly-along-the-surface thing. Any ideas?

Thanks bb! Why would a Forster's Tern be feeding differently though? Or would they feed both ways...?

Sometimes birds just don't read the book!

#3 (and #4?) look like juveniles -- cool plumage to get shots of!
