I have this filed as YBFC, but I have a real hard time with these.. so checking

Confirmed. Yellowish throat and brightly colored lower mandible are good indicators. Also this bird displays a very characteristic yellow front.

Seconded! These guys are among the few "easy" to ID empids :)

Yep, fly catchers definitely the hardest for me.. well maybe shore birds are worse, but where I am I dont see a whole lot to worry about them.. thanks for confirmations
