Some confirmations/identifications from Eau Claire, WI tonight.

First... Green Heron?

Posted Image

Sandpiper... maybe a spotted?

Posted Image

Saw quite a few of these rummaging around Sora, correct?

Posted Image

This one I'm not too sure about...

Posted Image

Another Sora?

Posted Image

And another?

Posted Image

Another sandpiper?

Posted Image

And finally, which waterthrush?

Thanks for your help!

I'll agree with all, though not sure if it's a spotted or a solitary sandpiper. The unknown - I'll say yellow-rumped warbler, and northern for the waterthrush.

Your unknown looks like a Swainson's Thrush. I agree w/ Green Heron and Sora. Can't help on the others.

the first sandpiper looks like it doesn't have enough of a white patch on the shoulder for a spotted. the 2nd one, maybe, it's hard to tell from a front view. congratulations on all the soras!

The white spotting on the back and wings, and the white spectacles, makes your Sandpiper a Solitary. Here's a poor pic I took of one last year for comparison....

And here's a Spotted........
