All taken on 9-17-12 in southern New Jersey just outside of Philadelphia PA.

1. My guess is Northern Parula?

4. Last one, I know the photo is blurry and the head is partially obscured but I thought I'd give it a shot and see what you all come up with.

3) Swainson's Thrush
4) White-eyed Vireo

Not saying for the thrush, but I agree with the rest. Your White-eyed Vireo is a juvenile, so the eyes are more blue-gray.

Your White-eyed Vireo is a juvenile, so the eyes are more blue-gray.


Based on behavior, it could also be confused with the similar Kangaroo Vireo.

I have been searching for the rare and elusive Kangaroo Vireo forever, I hope one day to see it for myself.

Good timber does not grow with ease:

The stronger wind, the stronger trees.

The further sky, the greater length,
