Hey all!

Both of these were captured today, 9.25.12 at Cromwell Valley Park in Baltimore County, Maryland. I am pretty sure the first one is a female Black-throated Blue Warbler. The second one seems too slate gray above and not yellowy enough underneath. Are they both BTBW?

I tried to equalize the white balances as well as I could but they still didn't look too similar so I put them back to basically where they came out of the camera.

Thanks!

Benjamin

Thank you. Is this within normal variation or is it in the lighting and white balance?

Both look pretty good color-wise. The first photo is over-exposed and the second a touch under, so that's throwing the color off just a little.

Ok, thank you. In the field I thought these were Common Yellowthroats so this is a pleasant surprise as I had never seen a female BTBW and had only seen my first male the day before.
