Need ID for Hawk (?) ID in So Calif

I'm sure someone will correct me- but it looks like it could be an Osprey to me with the eye striping!

No correction needed! It's an Osprey.

I'm sure someone will correct me- but it looks like it could be an Osprey to me with the eye striping!

Why be embarassed? You were right! You should never be embarassed for a correct ID.

Finally get Mountain Quail and Vesper Sparrow

We all make incorrect IDs from time to time. I've been birding on many occasionans where someone in the group made a bad call and I told them it was nothing to be ashamed of.
