I've consulted my brand new Sibley's and I have guessed Kestrel because he was a burnt orange on his back. I thought he was one of the Merlin at first. He did not bob his tail though... Sorry about the crummy picture. I looked into lens' and need to save a bit. :-)

OMG! Thanks! And go me for a correct ID! Added to the lists! Wow, this has been a great fall for me! I hope they stop by here every year and it's not just fallout from all the unstable weather up here in the Northeast. Either way I'll take it!
