This was taken towards end of September off the coast of Maine, anyone, please?

I have virtually no experience with gulls (yet) but these look good for 1st winter Great Black-backed, which should be pretty common in Maine.

Thanks, I now have a name to the picture. I searched everywhere for a gull with grey color bill and found nothing, so being a juvenile probably explains it. I did see some big gulls trying to steal food from seals way offshore, and they do look like Great Black-backed gulls.

I just hope somebody comes by to confirm. If not, I guess that makes me Whatbird's new gull expert
