I am pretty sure on both of these, the reason I question is one is the a yellow House Finch and the second I think is a Juvenile American Goldfinch, we do get lesser goldfinches in the area and I understand they look pretty similar in the winter plumage.

Agree with both, but the goldfinch looks like an adult non-breeding. I don't think that there is a different juvenile plumage.

There actually are both juvenile and immature plumages for Am. Goldfinch, but this bird is an adult male in non-breeding.
