I saw this bird on Lake St. Claire near Detroit on a trip to Michigan last weekend. It was bobbing around on the water like a cork, as if it weighed next to nothing. I'm new to bird watching and couldn't identify it in my guide so I'm hoping someone here will help me learn what it is.
