Hello again!

Ok, two more and I can eat dinner (then back to the Lincoln v. Song Sparrow hair pulling). I already have three eBird rarities today (all time based, none range based) so lets shoot for some more! These were both taken at Patterson Park in Baltimore City, Maryland on 10.10.12.

#1 I have one Prairie Warbler today and this seems to fit the bill as well but the black chest/flank streaks are different angles and whatnot so not the same individual.

#2 Only thing I can come up with is Eastern Phoebe but the line behind the face, the length and posture of the bird, and what seems like a pattern to the gray chest instead of a wash all make me doubt EAPH.

Thanks!

"...and what seems like a pattern to the gray chest..." Doesn't seem phoebe-ish to me, either...?

I agree with both, Prairie Warbler and Eastern Phoebe.

Another vote for Prairie (positive on that one) and Phoebe (these are pretty much the only flycatchers left in N. Maryland now)

I would agree that IF #2 is a flycatcher it is a EAPH (add that to the 12 others I tallied yesterday). I did also get a Least Flycatcher yesterday, but this is undoubtedly not a LEFL. Most of the EAPH right now seem to have a lot of yellow on the chest and breast. But unless anyone (myself included) can figure out what else it could be I guess it shall be declared an EAPH.

As for #1 I agree with the majority here and still think it is a Prairie Warbler. The other one I saw has been confirmed on the eBird Rarity List along with another person's who saw and photographed one Prairie who appears to be the same individual I am sure of. I am going to assume this is the same individual again (for one Prairie total onsite) and I am just wrong about the stripes being different.

Thank you to all, I know these poor type of shots leave much room for interpretation...
