Chipping Sparrow?

Had this guy pegged as a Chipping Sparrow, but for some reason now I am not sure. If it is, is it just the non-breeding plumage that is throwing me off?

Hmm I would say either a Chipping sparrow or a White throated juvenile sparrow.

I think it's a Chipping Sparrow, too. The White Throated Sparrow has more gray on the face with a yellow splotch towards the front. That may be what you were thinking of. :)
