Smaller body + short neck = Cackler, yes? The bills don't look different, though.

It looks like you have 2 different individual geese, the second especially looks good for Cackling to me, and quite possibly the first as well. Can be tricky to judge just from photos though.

Agree with RCK and Cackling. I think both pictures are of the same Cackling Goose. The white cheek patch looks nearly identical in shape. The small size of the bird with short neck definitely helps. It also has a relatively steep forehead angle compared to the bill, which is a feature of Cackling.
