Two Shrikes, Chitwan, Nepal, winter 2008

I saw these two shrikes at the same place within a minute of each other. Are they the same species? Long-tailed Shrike? Why the difference in plumage on the head?

I believe the first is a Long-tailed Shrike, unsure about others.
Life List- 271 Latest: Eurasian Tree Sparrow, Greater White-fronted Goose, Broad-winged Hawk
2016- 214 Latest: Dickcissel, Eurasian Tree Sparrow, Least Tern, Greater White-fronted Goose, Broad-winged Hawk
