This is a male American Goldfinch, in transition from its winter to summer (breeding) plumage.

We did not inherit Mother Earth from our Ancestors.....

We have borrowed her from our Descendants.

You're welcome, mdeniseo. I have a ton of American Goldfinches at my feeders now, and they are just starting to "gold up" for summer, too.

That's downright chilly for Orlando!! It's 39 here in Sacramento, about normal for this time of year.
