Crystal Springs Park, Portland, OR, taken today 2-17-13

This guy looks to me like a Greater White Fronted Goose.

But check out his size vs a Canada. Is this right?

Lesser Scaup? I'm thinking Lesser because of the tuft at the back of the head.

The Canada Goose looks like it may have some domestic in it, but I agree with all other IDs.

The first photo does show a GWFG, but, the other is not a Canada Goose. It's a Domestic Swan Goose X Canada, that's why it's so big/.

Cowboy Bean is coming this way!

He's sharp as needle and bright as a dollar,

Wear No. 3 shoe and a 16 collar.

He's full of vim and he's full of vigor,

fast on the draw, and quick on the trigger.

So all you bandits and thieves take warning

Or you'll be in a hospital bed by morning!

And the doc'll give you kind of a shake,

And he'll hear the rattle that the bullets make,

And he'll shake his head and he'll say "oh my"

I can't cure this and I ain't gunna try!

For Two-Gun-Freddy has plugged this guy!
