These were both seen about 2 weeks ago in the Central Valley (CA).

I'm liking first guy as Song Sparrow (white malar, white breast, broad brownish streaking,) second as Savannah.

I am going to say Lincoln's for the first. Based on how grey the head is.

How about Savannah for both? I think I see a yellow spot in front of the eye on the first bird.
