Nice shot, Matt - is that a recent photo? Just wondering, as the male is in his "Sunday Best" plumage, and the ones in my area don't have it yet.
The shovelers were taken in March.
Here is a Northern Pintail pair taken in February.
I hope I'm following the theme properly... Are we looking for dimorphic pairs or just pairs?
