Do you have a higher-res photo?  I think I see the bird, but I can't blow it up enough to ID it without a total loss of quality...

So far I've found a Hedgehog, one old tennis shoe, a radiator hose off a Chevy pickup truck, a toaster, a plastic fork, a three-legged frog, and Jimmy Hoffa... but no bird!! Think maybe I'm straining my eyes too hard???

Well, I think there have been enough guesses, and birdbrain22 got it right. It is a snowy owl. I don't have an edited photo, but just look along the horizon line near the center of the picture.
