How to mark a thread as resolved...

Anyone there who can tell me how to mark a thread that I started as resolved?  I hate to leave them unresolved and clutter up the site.  Thanks.

i doubt any thread ever gets "completed"  ...seems although the original direction of the thing gets resolved, somewhere within all the comments and discussion lie the begining of a new one...and we do have several threads that get referenced several times a year, with some time in between them.. keep them open, and available for future comments, i say

Re: How to mark a thread as resolved...

Hi Birdseye,  Thanks for the response.  Yes, I see the logic in that and didn't want to close the thread, but why are some marked "resolved" and others not?  Also, I didn't want my list of threads in the section "My Discussions" to continue to grow as I got more and more involved in the site.  So, I guess I had two questions...how to mark a thread as resolved and how to delete a thread from "My Discussions".   I thought that marking the thread as resolved might make it disappear from the "My Discussions" list.  What do you think?  L.
