sounds to me that you are receiving emails each time a posting is made. It that is the case then click on the group heading example this group "General Site Suggestions" navigate to the bottom of the page click on more options there you will find an email option click on the drop down select never and then click the apply button the emails will stop if you are getting any emails from any of the groups click on the heading and follow the instructions at the bottom of the page as outlined above
