Taken today in Irvine, CA. If it is a Dowitcher, anyone want to take a stab as to whether it is LB or SB?

Re: Dowitcher?
I think you're right with Dowitcher. If I'm reading my Sibley's correctly, I think it's a juvenile Long-billed, based on the coloring of the tertials. Wait for someone to correct me before you write it down, though

Re: Dowitcher?
Agree with Long-billed due to the darkness of the bill at the base, and overall vibe. I would call this a non-breeding adult individual, however.
Total birds seen: 205
Latest lifers:
Brown Creeper, Field Sparrow, White-crowned Sparrow
Favorite lifers:
Black-billed Cuckoo, Reddish Egret, Wood Stork
