This message board is pretty quite here, which makes me assume that the toolbar is working fine.

The Sort Mode selection was not being remembered when the browser was closed and reopened. It now remembers the last mode you set (first-last, or last-first)

First letter disappearing in the bird name field. This is an odd behavior where you put the cursor in the text box and type and that letter then disappears. I would appreciate if anyone has seen this behavior lets me know. You can reply to this message.

Feel free to dump all over the toolbar if you dont like it.

I have not tried your toolbar yet but like most new things there are usually "bugs" to be worked out.  I don't think we have many shy people on this site so I'm pretty sure you would/will hear all about it sooner or later.       You do remember the proverbial calm before the storm, right?!       Thanks, by the way, for all you do around here!

Jan anyone from a town called Fairdealing has to be trusted . You are exactly correct, version 1 is always a beta. Heck even version 6 can be beta as Vista has shown.

So far 300 people have downloaded the toolbar. Perhaps silence is golden is not a myth. We shall see. I use the darn thing every day and its saved me gobs of time. Best kept secrets.

The one reason I was hoping for feedback is that we have a lot of ideas to improve it and there are too many to choose from without hearing whats important. I would like to see some kind of ability to search a bit with it, like just show me all the birds in a state or in a family. I just dont see how that can be done without getting all complicated interface wise.

Hi Mitch...I've been meaning to mention the first letter disappearing glitch problem. Yes, I have been experiencing this.  I've been away all weekend therefore haven't used the toolbar much lately but thanks for fixing the Sort Mode glitch, too.

The disappearing first letter bug should be gone in the latest version (11). I believe that is the last bug we have. Thanks for your feedback.
