A while ago Bird Brain started a thread on Ravens and Crows. I really enjoyed that thread as I learned a ton. I added a some shots to that thread that others helped me ID and finally I broke through that birding barrier and am now confident in my field IDs of these birds. http://www.whatbird.com/forums/forums/thread/105208.aspx There were many angles posted and people commented about the various field IDs that help identify the bird. The legs, beak, and tail of the Raven/Crow are very defining. With that in mind, I would really appreciate people continuing cairnstone's thread with both Greater and Lesser shots, and especially comments from those in the know. Also include gender. As usual, critiquing goes without saying, I learn more from my mistakes than when I am right. So here are my Lessors.
Greater are considered rare for Arizona and I think I got the classic corner at the rear of the head.
