    This has been very educational for me I thank you all for the images that have been posted so they are all very good and it allows us all to see the major differences between the males and the females.

    I am soooooo jealous of those owls.........we had one here recently and I only got a really bad picture - but a picture none the less!

    But I have a happy pair of wood ducks.
