Thanks!  Those little guys are so fun to watch as they dart in and out of the surf, especially when they start getting competitive.

I just wish I'd closed down the aperture a bit.  I took a couple hundred frames on the beach that day, but a lot of the birds ended up out of focus, just because the short depth of field at that distance at f/8.  You can see that only one of the Sanderlings is in focus in that shot.

It swooped up a bit too fast to get it's face in the water....

We were really suprised to see this egret - it was having good luck hunting little fish of some kind.
