    To be honest....it looks like it could be a male Henslow's sparrow...look at the wing coloring. It would also be in your area

    The first two birds are Song Sparrow and the last is indeed a Swamp Sparrow. Nice catch on the last sparrow. Neither bird looks anything like a Henslow's.

    Gosh, now I am really scratching my head!  There were an awful lot of sparrows running around in my yard that day.  Perhaps as I was snapping away, a different one hopped in!  Here's the same ones, but showing the face a bit more.

    Yup, this bird is definitely a Swamp Sparrow. Good catch by Josh!
