Re: How do you find owls?

Great suggestions folks. Although I did try using recordings in the hopes of getting a response, I have abandoned that approach due to the moral issues it brings up. I haven't found any yet, but I KNOW there are owls within walking distance of my house, there has to be due to the amount of woodlands around me. I will keep my eyes open and my fingers crossed that I will stumble across some of them in the near future. Again, thanks for the feedback, it's been very helpful. *s*

    BTW, nice pictures folks.

Funny I was just wondering this myself (how to find owls).  Does anybody know any good places to find owls in Southern California?

Click here for Orange County's Sea and Sage Audubon website look for "Places to Bird" or try one of their field trips.
