    I've enjoyed all of these so much---thanks everyone! Here is my contribution---spring can be quite windy here in the desert.

     



    8 days camping in Western Colorado and 5 new birds: Juniper Titmouse, Mountain Bluebird, Black-billed Magpie, Clark's Nutcracker, Gray Jay. Beautiful!!!

    Thanks Matt! I went on vacation and you wouldn't believe the amount of crests I saw! :)

    Holy cow Goose! i have seen alot of shots of herons, but never a shot like this!!!  For sure one of my favorites of all time! thanks

    Thanks! I think it just epitomizes "right place, right time." I went out every day on my vacation and watched the birds (and took a few photos.) This is one of the most unusual heron behaviors I have seen. I guess it was his yearly bath?

    And he doesn't look too happy about it, either!!!  Surprise
