Hi Mitch when you click your link it gives you page not found the problem is at the end of url there is a  %20    if you delete the %20 and then hit the enter key it will go to the page so I believe what has happened is when you copied and pasted the url here you have added a space at the end  that is how a space is writen in a url   %20

Hi Mitch!  I've been browsing through the species database (submitted a fish crow, while I was at it)...I have one question.  Are you limiting all submissions to portrait-oriented photos?  Not to complain or anything, but that would be awfully limiting.  ::sniff!::

"The species that we need photos for are listed at the bottom the page. Species with no photos are in the 1st column and species with 1 photo are in the 2nd column."

    Where's the list?

I am painfully aware of what House Sparrows, European Starlings, and the displaced Brown-headed Cowbirds are doing to our resident bird populations.

The intent of my comment, solely directed at an inexperienced birder/photographer, was to take a very common species and invite them to participate.  I have marveled at the maturity, both in bird knowledge and photography, of Curlybird.

misbicki stated  "I looked on the page and I don't have any rare bird photos can I stilll send some photos?"  Sounded like a starting Curlybird to me.

House Sparrows are not responsible for being here and is the most widely distributed wild bird on the planet.  We constantly see female House Sparrows in the ID forum and I assume they are always among the first ten birds on someone's life list.

Thank you for the compliments, Matt (assuming they are compliments and not one of your "one-liners"!) Smile

Re: Share your photos with the world

My wording was a little lacking Curlybird.  When you look at where you were when you first started posting in the middle of last year and where you are now... you have come a very long way.  You have put a lot of time into birding and it shows.

Encouraging new birders is part of what we should be about.  I hope misbicki comes back.
