We have been lurking for a while. We really enjoy the website. My wife and I live in San Jose, CA and are new to backyard birding and birding in general. Last year we put out a few nectar feeders for hummingbirds and we were pleasantly surpised by the numbers and frequency that visited the feeders. This year we decided to add two tube feeders to the mix. We look forward to learning a lot from this forum and will contribute where we can.

This really is a great site.  Everybody is very helpful and we have some very knowledgeable peolpe here - as well as the rest of us who just try really hard to get it right!!  We all love to try and make an ID and I know I always learn alot just trying to help.
