Hello from a French photographer in Brazil!

    Hello,
I've found this forum looking for help to identify birds I photograph... I am French, living in Brazil, where it is very easy to approach birds and take pictures of them.
Birds photography is quite new for me and I am not good at identifying them. I hope I'll find help here!

    Hello and Welcome to Whatbird!

Although most of us are from North America,  we will do our best to try and identify your birds!  We always love a challange!

We also have a forum on bird photography where you can share photos and get ideas on getting better photos.

Hope you enjoy the site!  I'm looking forward to seeing the beautiful birds of Brazil!

Re: Hello from a French photographer in Brazil!

Hello, I am from Katy, Texas and have been coming to this site for sometime to glean information and ideas. I watch birds around the Katy Prairie and along the Texas Coast, mainly. I like to photograph birds but lack proper equipment to do it well. I still try. Matagorda County is one of my favorite places to search out various birds and I like sharing my finds and ideas with others. I would like the photo thread pick back up as I really got some good ideas there.

Welcome Tuggy - you'll love the forum "Help me identify a bird." Follow the posts to learn more. Try to read some of Kiwi's insight on Photoshop and digital photography hints in that section. I've found his advice very helpful.
