    iBird PRO Version 1.6.1

I am excited to be working with the newest version of iBird PRO, available now through iTunes!

I am among the users who experienced crashes with the last version, but I cannot make this thing crash, no matter how many bird songs I sample, or bird photos I view. It is really running the way it should.

Additionally, it is delightful to see a number of species added to the master list, including the species of the Hawaiian Islands. (I'll have to plan a trip to celebrate...)

Congratulations to Mitch and the gang for improving an already excellent app!

THANK YOU BEN for taking the time to leave these comments. Made my day. I would really appreciate if you could update your review - it will help other potential as well as current customers understand the value of updating.

    Re: iBird PRO Version 1.6.1

I have downloaded the latest versions of both iBird Plus and iBird PRO and love the new pictures and expanded bird selections.  As for fixing the crashes, I certainly don't doubt that others had this experience, and maybe I was just lucky or it didn't apply to my model (the original 1st generation iPhone, not the 3G).  As I have mentioned before, I have experienced crashes from other apps, but personally have never had a crash with either iBird Plus or iBird PRO.  These have just been absolutely amazing apps and have quickly gone from enjoyable luxuries to absolute necessities, and every time I show them off the response is literally jaw-dropping!
