    Post your interesting combo photos....

While birding, I'm sure we've all come across a tree or bush with a couple species in it.  Or seen several different species on one lawn.  I think it'd be cool if members osted interesting combo photos.

I had one photo somewhere of a puddle in a dirt parking lot..... bird bathing or eating grit included Cedar Waxwing, Barn and Tree Swallows, Goldfinches, Cardinal, Chipping sparrow and a fee Blue jays.

I took the photo below on May 31st of this year, at the McKinnley Reserve in Stratford, Connecticut (locally known as Great Meadow Marsh).  Its not a very good photo, but nonetheless it was cool to see these paired up.  I only wish I waited a few minutes because a fitz-beewing Willow FC laned just behind them, which would have been in the frame too.

This is the best I can come up with; only 2 different species but I love it - American Avocet and Black-Necked Stilt.

Both those would be lifers for me!

Here is another one I found, taken this spring in CT.  2 male Indigo buntings, and a few White-throat and White-crowned sparrows.  This was as close as I could get without them flying into the trees.  And me doing a bit of cropping/light sharpening didn't help with photo quality..... you can tell what they are at least =)

Mine's not a very good photo either, but Cardinal, Mourning Dove, and Song Sparrow in the snow last winter.

A not-so-great photo taken on a very bright sunny day. Two Great Blue Herons and a Swainson's Hawk were sharing something they were finding in a field in Colusia Co., Calif.

This one is about a year old. It was taken in Palacios Tx. There are at least four differnt birds here. How many can you spot?
