Anna's Hummingbird. Greenish hue, head, overall size, bill from what I can see, bib, throat, wing length/tail relation, white ear patch, and tail feathers are why I think that species, but w/o location that's only a guess it could very well be a juvenile Rufous too if you live in a desert region.

The bird was photographed in LA county in the early morning.  Although this bird has many of the features of an Anna's hummingbird, it has an unusual head shape that is different.  It sort of has a "crest" which is hard to see in the photo.  I have attached another photo and the bird in question is on the right and you can sort of see the "crest".  The bird does not have red on the throat - that is an artifact in the first photo.  It also has a white spot behind the eye that seems different than the Anna's white spot.  Thanks for the comments so far.

    Re: Help with id

I'm inclined toward juvie Allen's or Rufous, depending on what's right in your area at this time (I don't know well enough to call). Definitely see the rufous coloration coming in.
