Wow, awesome!  The backlighting makes that shot so dramatic.  Great work!  Yes

I so miss seeing the beauty of the fall colors...we don't get much of that here in Florida. Those are some breath-taking photos....thanks for sharing

Beautiful shot, Sandylee (and everyone else)! I love seeing other parts of the country (since I don't get to travel much) - keep 'em coming!

Thank you Sandylee and Lyceel for the compliments- I went past that tree again today and it lost all it's leaves in the torrential rain we had all day yesterday,so I am thrilled I got the picture and we all enjoyed it!

I so want to live near a lake, but I am blessed to have the scenery here that I do considering I live so close to a town.Like Curlybird, I love seeing where we all live.  More please.....

A glorious autumn morning here in southern Ontario. As I sat gazing out the window and drinking my coffee I had these visitors to the feeder and garden: Slate-coloured Juncos, Purple Finches, Chipping, Song and White-throated Sparrows, Red and White-breasted Nuthatches, Hairy Woodpecker, Goldfinches and Blue Jays.

I shot this Junco through the window (which is always tough).

Thanks curlybird. And I forgot to mention chickadees. How could I forget? They land on my hands, arms and shoulders when I am filling the feeder. Their impatience is dang cute though.

I have no idea what this plant is but the color was so pretty in the Seattle sunshine today.
