    Incredibly beautiful bird AND photo!

Just took the time to go thru all the shots here.....just a fabulous collection!  I never tire of "in Flights".....

Here's a "long distance" one of Mergansers taking off from Lake Michigan (about two weeks ago)....

Looks like you had all your ducks in a row in this shot!! Smile

Thats the transmitter. Its only on her when she is flying free and doesn't affect her flight or her ability to hunt.

I didn't know whether to post this on this thread or "Lunch".  Here's what I believe is an Osprey that flew by me this a.m. with breakfast.  I would have gotten a much closer and better shot but my camera didn't want to focus quickly enough..........grrrrr!  Point and Shoot cameras are frustrating at times!

    Re: In Flight

At the risk of hitting Bald Eagle overload, a few more shots from the last couple days. I'll put some in the lunch section too. A couple photographers shooting along Conowingo Dam counted 232 eagles this morning. It's an amazing thing to watch, considering how few there were in Maryland 40 years ago when I was growing up.

I think you are speaking to the wrong crowd, I would be shocked if any of us would get tired of this stuff.  What a blast.

Thanks. Conowingo Dam is a great place to watch (and photograph) them all through the fall.
