I have been trying to identify a bird I saw on a cliff on the shore of Lake Erie.  It is about the size of a pigeon has a brown head and chest, red feet, black tail and white tipped wings.  I have some photos if someone can tell me how to upload them.

I am trying to add a photo and it doesn't work.  This is what I did:

 

Chose reply

Clicked on options.

Chose Add/Edit

Browsed for the photo, clicked on it, then clicked save

tried preview...no photo

 

What am I doing wrong?  And how do I add a photo to go with my name?  Thanks. JoyceB

I don't believe it...it worked that time! 

If you attach a photo in that way, it will NOT show up in the preview section, but is indeed attached to your post.

Hi Birdseye, I'm also trying to upload a photo from my computer with less than ANY success!  When I follow the steps in your post I get into the options page, but as soon as i click on the ADD/UPDATE button my screen shades over and freezes.  Then I can't get anything to work.  The only way I can complete and post, is to use the 'BACK' arrow to get out of it.  Also, the tree icon does't do anything at all.  Any ideas?  I'd really like to post the photo of this bird that I have been unable to identify.
