    Photo Size Settings

I've noticed that there's not much control on the user's end over the photo size settings once s/he has created a gallery and uploaded photos. There's an option under the "Advanced Photo Settings" that allows us to enter a default size for the thumbnail, a large version of the thumbnail, and the setting for the photo size to open up in when the thumbnail is clicked. The problem is that once we save the settings to the sizes we want them, they unfortunately default right back to what they were originally. With this said, I've had a user already post in my gallery about the photo size and that it could be bigger — but that setting is beyond the user's control.

I realize that there is an option to click on the "View Sizes" link underneath the photo and select "Original" size or to click on the photo a second time so that it opens up in a new browser. The issue here is that I believe some users don't realize that these options exist or may not know how to use them.

    For Example:

    Re: Photo Size Settings

Thanks for the tips Sasha! I'm in the habit of double clicking on things like photos to see if they'll magnify---I didn't even notice the 'view sizes' tab before you pointed it out. On a related note, if one wants a better view of a pic that's loaded directly in a thread, one can double click on the pic and it will open in a new window by itself.
