Sorry I just downloaded the pic onto my cpu and put it into PS.  That is definately a foot and with that being said that is a mallard hen in the foreground.  My apologies background is more than likely a mallard hen as well.  We have all been wrong before havent we?

Guess it just shows that even with a picture getting an ID right can be tough !! In the future I'll have to try & get better pictures. Thanks again to everyone.
