Is this a Female Red-winged Blackbird?

    Is this a Female Red-winged Blackbird?

    Last week had the first RWBB show up at my feeders. This one showed up today there were 4 males around so i just assumed it was a female RWBB. what do you think?

    Hi Jello...I think the female RWBB is more striped so I think this could be a female brown-headed cowbird instead.

    It is a Female Brown-Headed Cowbird.

    Yes, the female Red-winged Blackbirds look different.

    This definitely a female Brown-headed Cowbird.

    I can see why you could get mixed up about it, though. Beautiful picture! Big Smile
