    Whatbird Search Engine Intro Video

This is a basic introduction to using the Whatbird search engine. It requires the Windows Media Player.

Re: Whatbrid Search Engine Intro Video

I had my 10 year old niece watch your video, then use what she had learned to identify a bird in a picture that I had taken.  She got the hang of it pretty quickly, and had a lot of fun using it to identify several birds that we see in this area.  She didn't need to ask me very many questions concerning how to conduct searches after watching the video, which must indicate that your instructions were clear enough for someone her age!  I hope this comment is useful to you.

Well shucks, that is about the best darn thing I have heard all week :) Its especially great that your 10 year old niece was able to follow it, because that means some adults might be able to as well. Some people pointed out that the volume is too loud and the movie pixelates at the end, but I guess your niece is very tolerant.

So thank you so much for taking the time to give me this feedback and having your niece try it out. Tell her she is now an expert in my opinion.

    Hey Mitch,

FYI, You got a typo in the title....Should be Whatbird Search Engine....You got it spelled Whatbrid...That was a great compliment above.  You guys are doing some great work.  Kudos
