help me identify bird and eggs

I live in the North Central part of Texas (Dallas/Ft. Worth).  We have a bird nest in our front entry just outside our front door in an old decorative yard fountain. It is a bowl shape with twigs, pine needles and leaves.  The bird flew out and perched on the wall and I got a look...it was about 5-7 inches (maybe fit in my hand), it was grayish with a light yellow belly...I think.  There are about five eggs about 3/4 inch in length.  They are white with a band of reddish dots around the center and scattered over the rest of the egg.  If anyone might know what kind of bird I am talking about, that would be great.  We are very excited to watch what happens!  Thank you!

My first impression is that it's some sort of flycatcher but can't pinpoint which one.  Could you get a picture of the nest and eggs at least if you can?  One of the bird would be great, too but even a pic of the nest would help I think

    Oh, and welcome to Whatbird!

    I am guessing Tufted Titmouse.

Titmice nest in cavities, such as birdhouses, so it wouldn't be too likely. I would guess an Eastern Phoebe, but a picture of the bird would really help.

My guess is Eastern Phoebe. I just saw one a little while ago and it seems to fit your description.

Phoebe sounds good, I was thinking about the eggs and forgot about the titmouse and the cavities!

Well I have been trying to get pictures, but the bird keeps flying away.  I checked today and we now have baby birds so I can't get pics of the eggs.  I did see what I think was the mom and she was brown with a white ring around her head.  I am going to see if I can upload the pics of the babies and the nest.
