    White Bird

I live in rural Illinois.  I spotted a mostly white robin sized bird hanging with another robin.  The white bird has reddish brown spots on the breast.  The body almost looks like a dirty white.  The coloring on the breast is really the only coloring there is.  I just wonder if it is an albino robin.  Does anyone have an ideas?

    Re: White Bird

It could be an Albino Robin, especially if it's shape and jizz matches.

Albino robin or maybe a snow bunting?  Tough to tell without a pic.
Don't cry because it's over, smile because you were there.

    Re: White Bird

The only thing I came close to was an albino Robin.

Or maybe a juvenile, but from what you are describing, it sounds too white to be a juvenile, so let's just called it an albino American Robin.

    It's probably an albino robin.
