    I second the compliment on the photos... i get excited when is see your posts. I wish you were here when the bald eagles were nesting close to us. I could sit and watch them for hours.. such graceful beautiful birds.

    Chris, spotted this immature golden this morning right next to the field where I fly my bird. This is also where I saw the Swainson's the other day. As soon as I got out of the truck with the camera, she took off.

    That's an immature Golden Eagle?

    Wow - at first glance it looked like a Black Vulture, it's so big!

    Yes thats an immature golden. You can tell by the white tail feathers. Its probably about 2 or 3 years old by the amount of white in the feathers. It was sitting on a power pole in a field.
