Oh no, Ephily, the light is not playing tricks on you/us he was most definitely the most brilliant shade of orange I have seen in a bird. I got a glimpse of him this morning in my binoculars and I hoped he would come back by on his way "home" and thankfully he did. I hope I get to see a lot more of the Tanagers
