    HELP!

Hi :) Here's a challenge....I'd love to know which bird makes a sound like he's saying "Dearie" or "Deer - REE" I've heard this bird several times, but I've never been able to catch a glimpse. I live in south western British Columbia. Any suggestions would be appreciated!! Thanks for reading, SueSmile

    Re: HELP!

Where are you hearing the bird's song come from, a tree, out in a field, next to a lake or river, in the city...?

    Re: HELP!

I was thinking maybe it was a Phoebe, Peewee, or some type of flycatcher, too.

    Re: HELP!

This is probably a long shot, but it's not a northern cardinal, is it?

EDIT:  Never mind, just looked at the range map.
