    4 Warbler-type birds

Today I went to my favorite park and got these 4.

This one I feel good in saying its a Black-and-white Warbler.

This one im no so sure but maybe a Blue-headed Vireo.

This one if first thought was a Yellow-rumped warbler, But im thinking that not right.

And Lastly this one might be the hardest because of the angle and I don't have an idea.

But I did ID the new birds  Blackburnian (Which I think is the prettiest warbler ive seen) and Magnolia Warbler along with a Alder Flycatcher and Scarlet Tanager.

    Thanks For the help!

No 1 is another view of a Yellow-rumped Warbler, not a Black & White.  Black & White has a black cheek, a white eye-ring, and a longish decurved bill; it really doesn't look anything like this bird.

If it were Yellow-rumped it would not have streaking that far back on vent and undertail coverts almost to tail.

    1. I'm leaning towards B&W Warbler.

Last bird looks more like a female Scarlet Tanager to me.

I agree with The Grine about the last bird. The bill looks too heavy for a warbler, and is right for a tanager

    Re: 4 Warbler-type birds

Actually, on a Black & White, black mottling extends all the way to the tail.  Males have a black throat and dark streaking, females have a white throat but faint streaking.  The view is bad for ID purposes, and the photo has obviously been photo-edited, but it's a problem IDing a Black & White here. Here's a nice photo of a Black & White for comparison.  Does this look like the same species to you?

    I agree with:

    1. Black-and-white Warbler

    2 and 3. is a  American Redstart

    3 and 4. is a Yellow-rumped Warbler

    5. is a Scarlet Tanager.

    Re: 4 Warbler-type birds

In the photo the black streaking almost extends to normal position for B/W Warbler. Also long thin bill and pose is classic. I would not hesitate to call this a Black-and-White Warbler and I am very familiar with this species and Yellow-rumped. I don't need comparison photos. Birds are quite variable. It looks fine to me to be Black-and-White. I have seen at least a few that looked like this. This bird cannot be a Yellow-rumped for the reason I mentioned as well as it would have thicker bill. And there aren't many other options.

I don't agree with you, but silly arguments are a waste of my time.

the first looks like a male Chestnut-sided Warbler, the rest i agree with Snowy.

    Re: 4 Warbler-type birds

It couldn't be a chestnut-sided warbler because this bird has too much streaking.

    Re: 4 Warbler-type birds

When I saw the first picture I was sure it was a Black and White Warbler, and when I read Snowyowl's post saying it's a Yellow-rumped I thought there's no way. But then I looked at it again. If you look at the other Yellow-rumped Warbler and just change its pose a little, it's perfect for the first bird.

Also, the male Black and White would have a much broader black mask, and only a small white moustach. The female Black and White's head might match a little more, but the streaks would be too faint. Though this is a tough bird, I agree with Snowy about it being a breeding male Yellow-rumped Warbler.
